Fast Charger TMS

The biggest hurdle for electric cars is their charging time. Refueling of internal combustion engines can be completed in minutes, but charging an electric vehicle can vary anywhere from from 30 minutes up to 10 hours.

The more you charge at a given time, the hotter the battery temperature. Just as a fast-charger heats up when charging a cell phone, this same phenomenon exists but at a larger scale for EV's.

To prevent fires, fast chargers with 100 kW or more cut off electricity when the internal temperature rises above a certain level. If the power supply is turned off in the middle of charging, the time required for charging continues to increase, and all inconveniences become the customer's responsibility.

To combat this issue, SCS is developing a TMS that prevents the internal temperature of a fast charger from increasing. This TMS has a dehumidification function, which increases the life of the fast charger as well as the longevity of the battery.

ESS TMS

We provide advanced ESS TMS technology.

We design a special cold plate for pouch type batteries or a special blower for cylinder type batteries.

It is possible to make an efficient heat management system for cooling/heating the battery with low pressure fluid.
